Yay Memorial Day weekend and also finally back to work!!!! My arm is all back together and I'm back to claying. I've spent the last few days working on my clay and making stuff. To me nothing feels as good as working with hands and making stuff, whether it's clay or felting, even knitting or crocheting. It's really hard to do any of these when your elbow hurts when you bend it at all. For someone like me it's incredibly frustrating.
I finally got back to the earring challenge - week 4. I made a pair of owl earring out of polymer clay, based on one of Christi Freisen's owl necklace tutorial. Admittedly they are not that different but they felt like a good start. I like the faux bone with the patina and owls are always fun, even when they are not bright colors. I listed these in my Artfire shop here

I think the most possible thing could have happened to anyone who works with their hands. I don't know if it's tennis elbow or what but for the last 3 weeks my elbow and arm have hurt and nothing seems to be helping. It's my left but then I am left-handed. I realized when picking up a box of crackers with my left arm was causing shooting pain in my elbow, it's time to actually go to the doctor. So tomorrow I'll get this checked out. Hopefully something can be done more than just live with it.
